Kindergarten here we come!!

Today was another big day in the Johnson house!  Princess Elia is OFFICIALLY in Kindergarten!  She was VERY excited to learn at move in night on Tuesday that she got the teacher she had been hoping for, Mrs. Barger.  And though many of her friends from last year are in the other class she was still excited for the upcoming year and the chance to make new friends! :)

The festivities began last night as we went for a surprise snack of French Fries and Gravy (Elia's favorite snack) and then headed home to get ready for bed and read "The Night Before Kindergarten."  Elia was SO excited for all the fun the next day held that she was VERY wiggly and took over an hour to fall asleep.  But eventually she was snoozing away, no doubt dreaming of all the fun she was about to have in Kindergarten!

Elia started her morning off with one of her favorite breakfast choices...toast with crunchy peanut butter and strawberries on the side!  YUM!!

Elia was ALL smiles as I dropped her off with her new teacher and classmates in the morning assembly!  I simply can't wait to talk to her and hear all about her first day of school!

After we dropped off sister, Noah, Daddy and I all went out for some yummy breakfast!  This is going to have to be a tradition for sure!

And after a full morning of fun, Noah and I returned home to assume regularly scheduled programming of feedings, diaper changes and nap times!  Now we just wait for Sister to get home so we can PLAY!!! :)
